skincare | innisfree green tea seed serum

Finals are over; I'm officially done with my first semester at university.

In the time I was off pretending to study while actually procrastinating my life away, I made a list for this little space and am currently already at number seven so I woke up thinking I should probably start.

Right. So I'll be reviewing the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum today. Like right now. Photos coming up!

The packaging is so cute I didn't take the sides but it has trees printed on! The packaging came in two colors when I saw them at the store - yellow and green.

I think Innisfree is pretty green (like, environmentally) when it comes to their products.

General info on the packaging:
  •  Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum with Squeezed Green Tea and Green Tea Seed
  • 160ml
  • Description: enriched with fresh green tea seeds and squeezed green tea from the pure Jeju Island to deliver abundant moisture and nourishment deep into your skin
  • Shell life: For best results, use within 30 months from the manufacture [sic] and 12 months from opening.
I forgot the exact price and date of my purchase but to the best of my memory (which really isn't ever at its best), I think it was around $50.

Verdict:
✅ smells delicious
✅ tightens my pores
✅ provides adequate moisture even before I apply my moisturizer
✅ does not feel greasy or heavy after application
✅ lasts for a long time - six months in and I'm only 1/4 into the product even though I use it religiously every night
✅ definitely will repurchase - it's my HG now

I did some research before my purchase - as always, there were split opinions but most were positive. Some reviewers mentioned that the serum can feel really heavy and clogged their pores but I had no such problems (for reference: I have combination skin). From the start, my face just soaked up all the nutrients from the serum in earnest. In fact, my complexion improved. Just remember that you have to allow your face some time to absorb the serum before proceeding with other products. I use the serum after cleansing and then follow up with moisturizer (which I will also be reviewing in due time because it is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee).

Tiny reminder that everyone reacts differently to the same product so take my review as reference instead of hard evidence.

AAAAAAND that concludes my first beauty product review in this little space. I'm not sure if anyone lasted this far but if you're still reading on, good for you your attention and concentration span is great and you'll do well in lectures. Or not. Because some professors are really really really boring and they make you want to sleep. No shade, only facts.
